MS. LAUREN BANDEL

ADVANCED PRACTICUM

Ms. Lauren Bandel is an advanced practicum student currently pursuing a a master’s degree on the way to a doctorate in Clinical Psychology – Child Track from Southern Illinois University.

Ms. Bandel enjoys working with clients across the lifespan. She has experience working with individuals experiencing neurodevelopmental disorders, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma, conduct disorders, and learning disorders. Ms. Bandel utilizes evidence-based assessments while taking an individualized flexible approach for each client to ensure that their specific needs and concerns are addressed. She thoughtfully considers the diverse background and experience of each of her clients.

Ms. Bandel has more than eight years of experience as a psychology research and teaching assistant. She is currently a graduate assistant at the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders in Carbondale, Illinois and serves as secretary of Southern Indiana University’s Clinical Psychology Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
