MS. AUSTIN GORDON, M.A.

ADVANCED PRACTICUM

Ms. Austin Gordon, M.A., is an advanced practicum student currently pursuing a doctorate in Clinical Child Psychology from Southern Illinois University.

Ms. Gordon works alongside clients of all ages and specializes in child and adolescent clinical psychology. She has experience with diagnoses and challenges including autism spectrum disorder, learning disorders, ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, oppositional behavior, conduct problems, adjustment, and toileting. She uses a biopsychosocial and developmental approach in developing a diagnosis and a cognitive-behavioral approach in treatment.

Ms. Gordon’s research interests include school climate, bullying, and youth violence prevention. She currently volunteers as a graduate research assistant for a bullying prevention and school climate enhancement project aiming to improve school environments in southern Illinois.
